POSTCARD COLLECTION

Seperti apa yg telah saya ceritakan pada posting sebelumnya bahwa beberapa waktu lalu saya membuat beberapa ilustrasi postcard untuk bonus pembelian merchandise Jogjforce pada pameran Rupanada bulan Mei 2014. Beberapa karya adalah ilustrasi baru yang belum terpublikasi dan ada juga karya lama yang pernah ditayangkan di Laiqa magz. Tiga karya baru tersebut saya buat berseri dan dua karya lama adalah 'Ratapan Nona Belanja' diambil dari edisi ke- 4 Laiqa dan '(Bali ke) Indonesia' dari edisi ke-7 Laiqa. Masing-masing karya tersebut dicetak full color di artcarton dengan mesin indigo. Dan karya '(Bali ke) Indonesia' selain dicetak ukuran postcard juga menjadi salah satu karya dalam sketchbook - artwork merchandise Jogjaforce.

REUNION - DAMN 2008

Kalau anda jalan dan melihat-lihat ke Showroomnya DAMN sekarang mungkin sudah tidak menemukannya lagi. Ilustrasi ini saya buat untuk Limited Girl Edition DAMN I LOVE INDONESIA di tahun 2008, *sudah cukup lama sekali ya... :) 

Sebenarnya ada beberapa Ilustrasi lainnya yang akhirnya di print di atas kaos, hanya saja saya hanya mendapatkan satu kaos dari salah satu ilustrasi yang sudah saya buat untuk DAMN :_(. Waktu itu saya sempat melihat dalam tayangan video pergelaran busana yang diadakan oleh DAMN di salah satu gerai pamerannya yang waktu itu sedang mengadakan event di Mall Ambarukmo Plaza, dan Dewi Rezer sebagai salah satu modelnya. 

Kenapa edisi cewek ini tidak berlanjut lagi? saya kurang tahu namun, pihak DAMN pernah berkata kepada saya kalau tees cewek kurang diminati. Tapi kalau melihat cutting modelnya siih... untuk pada saat itu di tahun 2008 mungkin memang tidak semua orang berkeinginan untuk membelinya dan mungkin juga hanya orang-orang dari kalangan tertentu saja yang mau, lagi pula harganya yang termasuk mahal untuk ukuran tees yang dipasarkan di Indonesia. *agnezzmo bgt :-O

Kaos yang diberikan kepada saya ini saja hampir tidak pernah saya pakai karena cuttingnya yang tidak bersahabat dengan body dan penampilan berhijab saya hahaha :)))... Alhasil, temen menyabetnya dan menghakmilik setelah foto ini saya unggah di instagram dan facebook *hihihi sorry tante Yulia...membuatmu berkesan pirate :))).

REMAKE OLD SKETCHES

Sebenarnya karya-karya ini merupakan karya dari skets lama. namun menggelitik hati dan pikiran saya untuk meramu ulang skets tersebut dalam beberapa konsep baru. Akhirnya jadilah dua karya ini  flow tears dan madame black jack. Iseng - iseng saya mengaplikasikannya dalam media t-shirt. Hanya preview, namun juga sebagai pengharapan kalau-kalau ada yang mau membeli ilustrasi saya ini, hahahaha :D

Sebelum menjadi karya madame black jack, skets tersebut saya gunakan dalam karya kartince, untuk menyambut hari kartini. Saat itu saya dan teman-teman di deviantart punya hajat untuk membuat pameran online menyambut hari kemerdekaan para wanita Indonesia. Selanjutnya, saya merasa figure wanita dalam sketch ini sangat kuat dan saat saya punya bayangan di otak untuk membuat sebuah karya dengan konsep kartu remi dengan gaya fashion, saya mengambilnya dan voila, jadilah karya ini.

Sketch dalam karya flow tears sebelumnya saya gunakan dalam karya reason to look good. karya tersebut saya buat untuk menyambut acara diskomfest 3# teman-teman DKV ISI. Sosok gadis misterius ini saya coba gabungkan dengan beberapa elemen (stripes & flower *yg sering saya gunakan *__*), dan jadilah karya flow tears ini. Mengangkat konsep tangisan, dalam karya ini untuk mendapatkan feelnya saya mencoba memberikan nuansa misteri dan keheningan dengan menggunakan warna low saturation dan simple elements. At last, please enjoy :-)

As year opener 2009 I asked by Fix graphic artist merch to make an illustration on his first t-shirt product, along with some illustrator and designer like the Ipung gift, Gilang And Zevanya. All of us are beginner, so I think this is a good enough opportunity to depict the idealism masterpiece we are in the form of product. and fix is one other will give that facility to us.

This is an introduction session from Beautiful Allergy is the brand by Imadawwas for artwork on t-shirt, first time this t-shirt will be produce but because I have no a lot of time hence produce of my t-shirt is pending. But all these not reduce my intention to make a functional artwork, and one day when I look on the exhibition of black urban art I find the curio. This is a fabric deco t-shirt marker, which assitive me make some artwork above the t-shirt. The concept remain to about woman. Beautiful Allergy likely this the way of I interpret the beautiful word and in fact about beauty, and this t-shirt is my representation masterpiece for that's word.
